A new community interest company has launched in Peckham with the aim of giving women and girls across London the authentic confidence they need to thrive.
She Oath, founded by Brookemorgan, launched on 4th July at “The She Oath Safe Space ” grand opening event. She Oath supports young girls and women between the ages of 13-25. They do this through programs, drop-ins, one-to-one sessions, one-off workshops, events and clothing support.
The event, which attracted the local community, was supported by the Southwark Mayor’s office and a number of local businesses, including local bakery Midnight Munchies, Nandos and Majane’s Kitchen.
She Oath is a Safe Space open to any young girls and women who need help.
The non profit was founded by Brookemorgan, a South Londoner and qualified coach, mental health first aider and therapeutic mentor, who uses her knowledge and lived experiences to provide the support she needed when she was a vulnerable young girl.
Speaking at the event Brookemorgan said: “She Oath is the baby of my lived experiences, healing and purpose. She Oath is not just a CIC it’s a part of the solution to plugging the cracks young girls and women fall through due to the lack of authentic confidence, guidance and knowledge of self.”
A She Oath Beneficiary- Teann: “I’ve come so far, at such a young age which is crazy but I owe it a lot to She Oath, because if I didn’t have that self assurance from a year ago (She Speaks COVID Response) I wouldn’t be where I am today.” -Assistant Interior Designer
She Oath is needed to give young girls and women the space to design their best versions. We aim to provide a 360 approach to self improvement.
