The 1989 Clubhouse is launching this week to provide an exclusive, private setting for business and pleasure. Members can relax and enjoy the opulence of this iconic building on the edge of Seven Dials in Covent Garden. The luxurious interior looks as if it might have been cribbed from a fin-de-siècle Parisian bordello of the highest order: Moulin Rouge meets Studio 54 – adorned with carmine red leather, banquettes, heavy brocade curtains, and Swarovski crystals embedded in the seating.

Step off the street and into the luxurious Main Bar, an ornate setting in which you can lose yourself in good conversation, flavoursome food and handcrafted cocktails prepared by master mixologists to suit your taste preferences at the pewter topped bar. Downstairs, the White Room restaurant is a decadent masterpiece of white leather combined with elaborate features and hidden nooks, creating the ideal place to wine and dine. Next door, step through the curtain into the alluring Red Room, all deep carmine red tones, leather button-back walls gleaming with crystal detailing, and velvet seating. Relax in these rich settings with a bottle of your favourite, and unwind with your closest friends.

The Clubhouse kitchen is headed up by Executive Chef Dell Inta, born in Thailand and specialising in Pan-Asian cuisine. Dell has a background in menu development and working as a private chef, and her skilled palate enables her to create dishes that wow the senses, bold but finely balanced, a delicate combination of tastes designed to impress.
