On Saturday 15th October, a new public piazza is opening at Grand Union in Brent, with a range of family-friendly activities throughout the day.
The event will also celebrate the opening of the neighbourhood’s new Community Hub as well as a new stretch of public Canalside which connects the neighbourhood to the surrounding areas.
A new piece of public art and a historical canal boat will both be unveiled on the day.
Visitors can enjoy an array of food and drink, alongside a variety of entertainment suitable for all ages, from workshops, live music, and performances, with dance workshops choregraphed by Andrea Queens, who worked on the London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony.
