With ‘wine in a can’ fast becoming the food and drink trend of 2019[i], world leading wine producer Concha y Toro has today launched O’jos – a brand new range of spritzer-style wine drinks in a can, inspired by the vibrant heart of Chile in a bid to cater for health conscious millennial wine drinkers, who want lighter alcohol, single serve, on the go alternatives to traditional wine.

The range was unveiled at the UK’s first ever ‘wine in a can’ bar in London’s Shoreditch. The exclusive O’jos Light & Soul Lounge pop up in London’s trendy Shoreditch formed part of the schedule for London Wine Week, and featured a set from celeb DJ Ashley James, along with alcoholic edible bubbles, zero mist cocktails, and an exclusive first taste of the new canned spritzer brand before it hits Tesco stores nationwide today [20thy]

The O’jos range is being launched to meet the nation’s growing preference for lighter, single serve wine, fuelled by health-conscious millennials.

Available in two delicate flavours, O’jos will bring a touch of Chilean soul to any social occasion; Rosé Spritz, lighting flavoured with Cranberry and Pink Peppercorn; and Chardonnay Spritz, delicately flavoured with Rose and Raspberry.

O’jos is made from Chilean wine, with natural flavours added to further enhance the light and refreshing nature of the drink, but without masking the delicate taste of the wine – all carefully blended by expert winemakers.

O’jos launches nationwide in Tesco and most UK convenience stores from today [20th May 2019], , priced at £2 per 250ml, reduced to £1.50 for a limited period, before rolling out in Morrisons and Asda stores from July. In addition to single serves, the range will also be available in a handy four-pack form in Asda stores.
