Number of victims of Grenfell Tower fire formally rises to 45

To date 45 people have been formally identified, having died following the following the fire at Grenfell Tower.

A total of 26 people who have been formally identified but who have not been named at the request of their families.

The Grenfell Tower fire occurred on 14 June 2017 at the 24-storey Grenfell Tower block of public housing flats in North Kensington, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, West London. It caused at least 80 death and over 70 injuries. A definitive death toll is not expected until at least 2018.

The families of all 46 victims, including Baby Logan, have been informed, and are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.
