Comparison has never done anyone good. But for us, the vile society never stops doing it. Things have only escalated for bad. I mean, what fun do people get out of it. They were turning people against each other when they were comparing world-renowned athlete Cristiano Ronaldo, a legend in the football world. And a rising star and charismatic player, Mohammad Salah. Things can take an ugly turn, which cannot lead to anything good.
The match that was between Manchester United and Liverpool of Premier League on 24th October was much-hyped. Everyone was expecting Manchester United to win the game as they had the ultimate trump card, Cristiano Ronaldo. But they didn’t expect Liverpool to change the game this way.
If we look into the match from the first, Man U was messing from the beginning. The team was uncoordinated, and it seemed as if they were relying on CR7. At the same time, the Liverpool team was coordinated and had the upper hand from the beginning of the match.
The charismatic moment of the match was Salah scored a hat trick. In Old Trafford last time this record was made in 2003 by Ronaldo Nazario for Real Madrid, and that was 18 years ago.
The wrong turn of the match was Ronaldo received a yellow card. Then he knocked the Liverpool player Curtis Jones to try and get the upper hand. I mean, can you blame him? It was customary for him to get frustrated, but this didn’t bring him any good.
For any club, winning or losing a match is a regular thing. It was good to see that the manager of Man U is taking the loss naturally, and he still has confidence in himself to hold onto the current team. It’s good to know that he showed good sportsmanship.
Now let us talk about the comparison between Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohammad Salah. The thought itself sounds ridiculous, and there is no comparison between them, and they are best in their way.
Everyone knows the achievements of Ronaldo. This man is one of the best football players in the world. Comparing him with anyone is an insult, and he is a legacy himself that will take eons for any player to achieve.
Mohammad Salah is also one of the best players in the world. His skills and achievement have their own story and glory.
We are dragging the players in an unnecessary feud that who is the best. Just one match cannot change the positions nor demean anyone’s potential. Then why are we engaging these two in this?
We keep on forgetting that the win or loss of a team doesn’t depend on only one person, and the whole team needs to put effort. If we see both the groups of Man U and Liverpool, and we can cross-examine the problems.
The new team of Man U has many new players. We can say they are going through a bad phase, and it is natural, and the fans should take it that way. But what they are doing is blaming CR7. Some are even saying that he is a bad influence on the team, which is too much.
Liverpool was not scoring that well throughout the season. But this match they turned around, which is an excellent thing. And thanks to Mohammad Salah and his assistance towards the goals scored, the team won the game beautifully.
Hopefully, Man U will not disappoint their fans in the upcoming matches. The team will be more coordinated, and Ronaldo will be showing his charisma as he has always shown. As for Liverpool hope they keep this form up. Mohammad Salah keeps on slaying like this with his awestruck skills.
