The 20 day Chiswick Festival has not only raised thousands of pounds for help keep Chiswick House open, but has proven socially-distanced events can be a success in London with a series of sold-out nights featuring live comedy, music and talks with stars of stage and screen.

Chiswick House & Gardens has been annihilated financially by Covid, having been forced to cancel all scheduled events for this year. Unlike many London green spaces, the park was kept open during lockdown for local residents to enjoy, but this cost a lot and now funds are needed to ensure Chiswick House can survive for future generations.

Thorfinn Armstrong, Founder of The Chiswick Festival says, “We are delighted Omid Djalili is closing this year’s Chiswick Festival and we could not have wished for a funnier comedian to give Londoners the last laugh this summer.”

“This year’s festival has been a huge success. We have raised thousands and to have assembled such a star-studded line up of talent, each one genuinely caring about the future of Chiswick House, has been immensely inspiring.”
