On The Tools scores a hat trick at the Construction Marketing Awards!

On The Tools, the online construction community and social media marketing agency, scored a hat-trick at this week’s Construction Market Awards, where it took home the award for; Best Digital Campaign, Best Social Media Campaign, and Best Distributor Marketing campaign for its contribution to the Jewson’s ‘Future Legends’ campaign.
On The Tools was tasked by Jewson (the UK’s leading chain of builders merchants) to come up with a creative and innovative campaign, which would show Jewson’s dedication to supporting the next generation of Tradespeople. With this brief in mind, the campaign ‘Future Legends’ was born!
The campaign, which was designed to engage a younger audience, was delivered through a closed Facebook group and supported by the main On The Tools page (which boasts a following of over 2.7 million).
Throughout the month of March 2018 members of the closed group were challenged to undertake 31 various tasks, including; creating Malteser tape measure runs, singing their hearts out in ‘Vanpool Karaoke’ as well as spotting Jewson trucks. A daily winner was selected with all 31 winners (plus a friend) being invited to the ‘grand final event’ which was streamed live across Facebook, with a chance to win a holiday to Ibiza for four people. The results? A staggering overall awareness of the Jewson brand by 54.8% with overall consideration of purchasing at Jewson increasing to 51% since the campaign!
 
The win comes hot on the heels of the company’s recent win at Pitch@Palace where it won the People’s Choice Award. The event aims to discover entrepreneurs and companies with demonstrable opportunities in a range of categories, connecting them to a powerful network of supporters, influencers, mentors, and business partners.
It’s clear the On The Tools team are on winning streak at the moment, and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow.
