To celebrate the highly anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G next week, leading technology retailer Argos is offering customers the chance to have their new handset uniquely delivered on-the-go by parkour runners.
With people’s lives busier than ever before and new research from Argos showing that 43 per cent of Brits struggle to arrange deliveries around their schedules, Argos is launching a limited-edition parkour service to get customers their brand-new Samsung Galaxy S20 5G as fast as possible, whatever their plans.
Continuing to grow in popularity, parkour uses running, jumping and climbing to get between two places in the fastest, most efficient way possible without any equipment. Whether that’s scaling a wall or leaping between buildings, parkour runners can overcome it all.
The research also found where Brits wish they could receive deliveries outside of the workplace or home, with train stations, on the commute and the gym coming top. One in ten millennials would even like to get things delivered to the pub.
The parkour pros will find the fastest urban route no matter whether the customer is in a bungalow, on their lunch break or at the top of a skyscraper, and run, jump and flip to get the phone delivered at 5G speed for a truly memorable moment.
Just under half (45 per cent) of Brits are looking to make their next phone 5G-enabled, with most wanting to invest in the technology to stream videos and social media faster (33 per cent), have better quality video calling (27 per cent) and download movies and shows in seconds (25 per cent). One in ten of the social media savvy under-24s are even looking forward to using 5G to upload Tik Tok videos.
Not only will the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G give customers full 5G connectivity but it comes with a stunning 12MP wide camera, a 10MP front camera and a 64MP telephoto camera. Users can also capture every detail and create smoother videos than ever before with the Pro Video Mode and Super Steady 2.0.
The limited-edition speedy service is available to select customers in London who apply for the special deliveries. To be in with a chance of getting the new handset for free and have it delivered by parkour runners on Tuesday 10 March ahead of general release on Friday 13 March, customers need to apply at https://competitions.argos.co.uk/samsung_parkour_delivery_2020_03.
Ian Eygelsheim, Mobile Buyer at Argos said: “We know our customers want to get their hands on the latest tech as quickly as they can but busy schedules often get in the way of this. So we wanted to test out the fastest, most flexible and most innovative delivery service yet for the exciting launch of the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G.”
Those unable to snap up one of the exclusive parkour deliveries or based outside of London can still get the new device in a flash thanks to Argos’s market-leading Fast Track service, which offers home delivery in as little as four hours up to 10pm, seven days a week, for just £3.95. The service is available in more than 90% of UK postcodes.
