One of Britain’s biggest-selling stand-up comedians returns to London for the final performance of his hit UK tour. Englandia will be filmed at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 24th January 2027 for Chowdhry’s fifth stand-up special.
Multi-award-winning comedian, actor and writer Paul Chowdhry has announced the final London date of his hit stand-up show Englandia, culminating in a special performance at the Royal Festival Hall on 24th January 2027, where the show will be professionally filmed for his fifth stand-up special.
The final date brings Englandia back to London following a hugely successful UK run. The tour played 41 dates across the UK in 2025, including sold-out arena shows at London’s The O2 and Birmingham’s Utilita Arena.
Chowdhry has spent much of 2026 performing internationally. His overseas show, Artificial Indian, toured across 11 US states and Canada, with performances in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Vancouver and Toronto, while his Irish dates were performed under the title Irelandia.
This December, Chowdhry will continue his international run with performances across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Dubai, before returning to the UK in January for the final dates of Englandia.
His recent international appearances have also included Netflix Is a Joke in Los Angeles, the Mike Birbiglia Gala at Just for Laughs Montreal and CBS’s Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen.
One of Britain’s most successful live comedians, Chowdhry made history as the first British Asian stand-up comedian to sell out Wembley Arena. He has since sold out some of the country’s biggest venues, including The O2 and Birmingham’s Utilita Arena, as well as multiple sold-out nights at the Hammersmith Apollo.
His previous stand-up specials include What’s Happening White People?, PC’s World, Amazon Original Live Innit and Sky Comedy’s Family-Friendly Comedian. The Royal Festival Hall recording of Englandia on 24th January 2027 will become his fifth stand-up special.
On television, Chowdhry is known for Taskmaster. He has twice headlined Live at the Apollo before returning as host, and previously hosted Channel 4’s Stand Up for the Week. His acting credits include two seasons of Sky Atlantic’s Devilsalongside Patrick Dempsey, BBC One’s The Cleaner opposite Helena Bonham Carter and Disney’s Cruella. He also hosts Don’t Ask Me That, a Spotify Original video podcast.
After touring across North America and Ireland earlier in 2026, Chowdhry will close out the year with December performances across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Dubai. He then returns to the UK in January for the final date of Englandia, culminating in the filming of the show at the Royal Festival Hall on 24th January 2027.
