Plonk Crazy Golf now Open in Peckham

The brand new space offers Plonk’s biggest and best South London course to date. Fitted with floor to ceiling ball lifts, huge ball runs, loops, ramps, jumps, ball balancing holes and some signature surprises. The arcade is lined with pinball machines, retro arcade cabinets, and foosball tables with regular and new games coming in over the months to follow. The bar serves up all the cocktail classics and local brews with some top-shelf Plonk for the wine drinkers. Having now launched, £15 will get South London putters a round on the golf course and ten tokens for the arcade.

The course has been designed to be totally socially distanced from the ground up. Every hole is at least two metres from the next, and the slower pace of play gives family and friends the chance to take their time and order drinks directly to their putting positions. Hand sanitising stations are placed across the venue and capacity will be reduced for the foreseeable future to allow extra space and time around the venue creating a safer experience for all.

The course itself is rammed full of bonus games, including the famous ‘Plonk Pinball’. Along the nine holes there are deceptive jumps which prove tricky to the most seasoned pro, and miraculous lifts that whisk the ball quickly out of sight.

Elliot Scott, founder of Plonk says “We are finally open! It has been an incredibly long road to get to this point but we are very happy with the results. The course is looking fantastic and the space is one of the biggest we have ever created with outdoor seating, retro games and foosball tables. We are priced well below any of our competitors so hurry on down and check out Plonk’s largest course to date.”

Now the clocks have changed Plonk will provide all the tropical warmth South Londoners need, keeping the summer vibes going, lush cocktails will be the drink of the season. Packed full of all the flavoured goodness and booze all could want. The cocktail menu is yet to be designed but think fruity, colourful and swanky.

Food comes in the form of two of Peckham Levels traders. Ipanema Grill serves an extended street food menu based on all the traditional home-cooked dishes from Brazil plus charcoal BBQ meats and cheese while Boxwallah’s bowls of mouth-watering Indian dishes are perfect for eating whilst gaming-on-the-go

With all this new space Plonk can start running events and distanced competitions. There are plans for ‘Two 4 One’ evenings and ‘All You Can Play’, ‘Bottomless Gamers Brunches’ events to come.

For further socially distanced fun, Plonk’s Horniman Museum and Gardens course will be staying open for winter. It’s perfect for families looking to play a round on fine weather weekends – but the course is more aimed at the little golfers than the seasoned pros!
