Recent memory can’t exactly be described as a hole-in-one. Anything but. Plonk on the other hand are looking to keep the putting madness moving forward by introducing a brand new space in Camden Market. Conveniently tucked away inside the historic arches, the brand spanking new 9 hole course is filled with all of Plonk’s madness it’s come to be infamous for.
Now part of four other crazy golf spots, Plonk’s boozy golf is clearly hitting a spot with Londoners looking for something a bit out of the ordinary. Plonk Camden in particular is open late every night except Sunday and is the perfect putting palace to swing by whilst out on Camden Town.
Plonk Camden looks like a relatively simple affair when comparing to the other sites in its golfing portfolio but looks can be deceiving. As always, the tiki themed golfstackles will be pushing the putting skills of any keen golfer to the limits. Lined across the 9 hole course are big ramps, huge quarter pipes and Plonk’s own take on the crazy golf we all loved as a child. Add in ball balancing beams and some ridiculous jumps plus a couple of drinks, Plonk Camden will deliver the best £9 of putting heaven. Drinks can be pre-ordered to beat the queue with buckets of beer bottles or trays of shots to get those muscles lubricated for the night ahead.
Beyond Plonk Camden, Plonk has four other action-packed spots for the summer. Plonk Peckham is the largest indoor course of the four, nestled in South London’s Peckham Levels. The newly refurbished building is one to book in with endless arcade machines alongside golf. East London has its own special location at London Fields, this site in particular has views across London Fields with its custom outdoor course. Inside putters can find limitless board games and arcade machines. Plonk’s southbank location is based at the newly opened ‘Between The Bridges’ with it being Plonk’s largest covered outdoor course whilst Plonk Horniman is the family focused 9 hole hugging the museum there.
As far as crazy golf goes, Plonk has it covered. Whether keen putters are looking for a boozy night out in Camden Market or a friendly family orientated game at the Horniman Museum in South London. Plonk is the mainstay of London crazy golf. The ideal place to unwind over a cheeky pint and catch up with friends over a (not so) friendly game of golf.
