Popcaan brings ‘Unruly Fest’ to South London this Summer

Dancehall sensation and international superstar Popcaan is set to make history as he brings his highly acclaimed Unruly Fest to London’s critically acclaimed open-air concert series South Facing Festival. Tickets are on-sale from Friday 9th February at 10am.

After captivating audiences across the globe, Popcaan’s Unruly Fest is set to take over London’s Crystal Palace Park Bowl on Sunday, 28th July 2024, featuring a host of friends – to be announced. The news follows the release of Popcaan’s latest album, ‘Great Is He’, alongside a European tour.

Unruly Fest has become an annual celebration of Jamaican music and culture, paying homage to Popcaan’s home country. Since 2018, the festival has featured performances from local and international stars, including Drake, Skillibeng, and Beenie Man. Next Year, Crystal Palace Park Bowl will host more of the biggest names in the music industry and rising names showcasing the best of what the culture has to offer.

South Facing is a multi-day, open-air festival that takes place each summer in the historically significant Crystal Palace Bowl. The festival boasts a huge choice of top-end street food and drink options and is easily accessible from London and all over the South East thanks to the various train and bus routes, including Crystal Palace (TfL Overground and National Rail), Penge West (TfL Overground and National Rail), and Gipsy Hill (National Rail).

Debuting in 2021, South Facing was created with the ultimate goal of having reduced environmental impact. South Facing works with local partners while setting high standards in sustainability for everything from audience experience and travel to recyclable and compostable products.

Previous years have included headline slots from Supergrass, Sleaford Mods, Max Richter and The English National Opera, and have seen artists including London Grammar, Richard Ashcroft, Becky Hill, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jungle, Craig David, James, Rudimental, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds grace the stage.

Other acts announced for this year’s event include Jess Glynne, Damian Marley, Love Motion with Grace Jones and more. Further concert announcements are to follow.
