Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of The Learn Well Group, a group of three premium day nurseries across London and Berkshire.
The Learn Well Group includes The Little Tug Boat day nursery in Fulham, Greygates Day Nursery in Muswell Hill, and Chartam House in Maidenhead. Together, the three nurseries offer an operating capacity of 129 places and have an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality childcare in nurturing, home-from-home environments. Operating from converted residential properties, each nursery combines its own unique identity with a shared commitment to the Learn Well values and curriculum.
The group was founded by husband-and-wife team Amy Shah and Adam Smith when the pair acquired The Little Tug Boat day nurseries in 2015. Since then, it has grown steadily, with the 2019 acquisition of Greygates Nursery, followed by the 2023 Chartam House acquisition. Together, these nurseries form the Learn Well Group, united by a shared educational approach and values. The pair decided to sell to focus on other ventures and their family.
Following a confidential sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, The Learn Well Group has been acquired by Bright Stars Nursery Group, which now owns and operates 147 nurseries across the UK.
