Ridiculously good-looking model and actor Anthony Consiglio has some tips and tricks on how he stays so beautiful, inside and out.
Watching him work his magic in front of the camera really makes you wonder what goes on inside this dashing man’s head. We sent the Italian-American model an email Q&A to find out!
Q: Do you come up with characters for yourself when you’re Modeling/Acting?
As an actor, you kind of have to learn who you’ll be portrayed based on the script. To me, Modeling is much different. It really depends on the mood I’m in at the given moment, and also the vibe and photographer have to sync up; otherwise, I’m not feeling it. There have been times where I felt clueless. Once I start feeling myself, and the vibe is on the point, then it isn’t me anymore; its a character. I think of a message or a moment I’m attempting to get across threw the camera to an audience. It’s entirely psychological.
Q: You seem to really love Modeling/Acting?
It’s different, and I’ll say that. Definitely beats a regular 9-5 Job. I love the creative aspect of it more so. I could portray an FBI agent or be a king of a mid-evil castle. The possibilities are endless.
Q: Career aside, you’ve had quite the exposure on news media outlets lately?
The News hyped water main break up into something else entirely [Laughs]
The Lincoln Tunnel is perfectly fine and safe to drive threw. I guess it just the way I filmed it and the commentary. I was not expecting that to go viral at all.
Q: Where do you live now?
New York and New Jersey
Q: How do you react when people go head over heels about your looks? Apologies, but I have to say it—you’re so handsome!
[Laughs] It’s all love you know. Sometimes I can tell when they are not genuine, though. Usually, then they want something from me, but I’ve gotten used to it.
Q: Do these compliments ever make you feel weird?
Yes
Q: Did you ever go through an awkward stage in your younger days?
[Laughs] Yes, I was one of those emo kids with jet black hair and only wore band tees and super skinny jeans.
Q: What do you do when you’re not modeling or acting?
When I’m not working in those fields, I steer my focus on my business. Millennial ATM. I place ATM machines in bars, clubs, restaurants delis, etc.… I’ve also taught myself stock trading, so I spend some time playing the markets. I try to balance a bit of everything. I spend time with my family and friends as well.
Q: What do you do to keep so fit?
Not much to be honest. I eat whatever I want. I do run a lot, practice yoga, and do the light lifting. I don’t play sports. I think I’m just blessed with a good metabolism.
