Richmond’s newest venue launches lockdown menu: The Richmond Club At Home

The Richmond Club, Richmond’s first private members’ club, has announced the launch of ‘The Richmond Club at Home’ – a selection of hampers, bundles, experiences and cocktail kits that are available to order for delivery anyswhere in the UK. The good news is that this menu is not just limited to members only.

The food hampers include: The Club Hamper (£70 for members/£80 for non-members), a three-course meal for two people, The Premium Hamper (£90 for members/£100 for non-members), and The Sunday Lunch (£80 for members/£90 for non-members). The courses arrive fully prepared and just need a quick finish in the over before tucking in. Descriptions of each of the dishes in all three hampers can be found at https://therichmondclub.uk/food-and-drink/

These food hampers have been created by Executive Chef Dan and they celebrate the very best of classic fine dining, but with a twist. Members will notice a few similarities to the club’s small plate menu, including his decadent chocolate brownie dessert.

These delicious edible treats can be accompanied by an array of drinks. The Cocktail Kits at Home, priced at £40 for members and £45 for non-members, provide all the ingredients to create four delicious cocktails for you to enjoy at home, from scratch. The cocktails include Chocolate Cream Espresso Martini, ‘The Henrietta’ a Cinnamon Daquiri, ‘The Felicity’ a Pink Grapefruit Margarita, and ‘The Mick’ a Honey and Fig Old Fashioned. The kits come with all the apparatus and ingredients (bar ice, for obvious reasons) that you need to make the kit.

If wine is more your tipple, The Richmond Club is offering exclusive wine bundles with six bottles in each that you won’t be able to find in the supermarket. The Italian Tasting Case (£160 for members and £170 for non-members), includes hand-picked wines from the foothills of the alps to the heel of Puglia. The French Tasting Case (£180 for members and £190 for non-members), showcases the country’s rich wine history and include highlights from the club’s favourite producers. The New World Tasting Case (£170 for members and £180 for non-members) will take you on a journey from Marlborough to Stellenbosch.

If you are after something to celebrate with or an extra special treat, you don’t need to look any further than The Richmond Club’s Champagne Experiences. They all come with two complimentary glasses of champagne in the Club upon reopening, for members only. The experiences include: The Moët and Chandon Impérial NV Brut (£75 for members and £85 for non-members), The Moët and Chandon Rosé Impérial (£80 for members and £90 for non-members), and The Veuve Cliquot Champagne Brut Yellow Label (£90 for members and £100 for non-members).

The Richmond Club has also got special occasions covered. Want to make Valentine’s Day extra special this year, order the Valentine’s Day Hamper (prices starting at £90) – a five-course meal for two oozing romance and luxury.

Club Manager, Ben Shanks-Pepper, said: “We are excited to bring you The Richmond Club at Home. Our chefs and mixologists have been working on the perfect dishes and drinks, exclusive to our club, that you will be able to recreate at home. Our luxurious hampers and kits do not make up for missing out on the experience of our club, however, they are the perfect treat during lockdown.”
