Ronnie Wood celebrates the opening of a new art exhibition at Andrew Martin

Global design house Andrew Martin hosted a memorable launch party on Tuesday 12th November to celebrate the opening of a new exhibition of artwork by Rolling Stones guitarist and accomplished artist Ronnie Wood. Held at the Andrew Martin showroom on Walton Street, London, the exclusive event welcomed art and design enthusiasts for an early look at Wood’s private collection which is now open to the public until Tuesday 3rd December 2024.

Best known for his iconic music career, Ronnie Wood’s talents extend beyond the stage into the art world, where his work draws inspiration from masters such as Delacroix, Caravaggio, and Picasso. This latest exhibition showcases Wood’s powerful interpretations, blending elements of classical and contemporary art, and is a testament to his vibrant artistic perspective. Last night’s gathering provided guests a unique opportunity to engage with Wood’s creative vision, brought to life in the theatrical environment of Andrew Martin’s Walton Street showroom.

Martin Waller, Founder of Andrew Martin, and Ronnie Wood have a well-established relationship based on a shared passion for art and design. Wood previously served as a judge for the 2021 Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award, dubbed the ‘Oscars of the Interior Design world’.

Founded in 1996, the Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award has championed excellence in interior design, honouring designers from around the world. Previous winners include Kelly Hoppen MBE, Axel Vervoordt, Anouska Hempel, Rose Uniacke, Kit Kemp MBE, and Nicholas Haslam.

Ronnie Wood’s exhibition is now open to the public until Tuesday 3rd December 2024 at Andrew Martin, 190-196 Walton Street, London, SW3 2JL. Opening times: Monday to Friday: 9:00 – 18:00. Saturday: 10:00 – 18:00. Sunday: 11:00 – 17:00.
