In a charity campaign aptly named ‘Room To Give’, The Corner London City hotel has committed to donating a percentage of all direct room bookings for this January to charity.
Based in London’s East End, in the bustling Tower Hamlets, the hotel has decided to support three UK charities close to their hearts, two of which have strong links to East London.
Barnardo’s was founded in East London in 1866 to protect, support and nurture the UK’s most vulnerable children and helps thousands of children, young people and parents across the UK every year. Based in Tower Hamlet’s, women’s charity Wen works alongside communities to support women and grass-root movements, helping to fight global problems around gender, health and our environment by taking action on issues affecting our bodies, homes and neighbourhoods. Mental health charity MHFA offers expert guidance and training to support mental health in the workplace and beyond.
Five per cent of all direct room bookings made via email, telephone or the hotel’s website will be donated to one of these three charities and guests are invited to choose which of the three they would like to support at the time of booking.
