Rory Wynne is a Stockport based Singer-Songwriter and Producer who boasts a catalogue of catchy and edgy pop songs which have been championed by the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and Radio X. Wynne has been described as a “prodigy” by NME and “Gloriously Catchy and Infectious” by Even The Stars.

Wynne can’t wait to be back on the stage after the highlights of playing on the NME Tour and supporting the likes of Blossoms, The Coral, Pale Waves amongst other big names.

Written, Recorded, Produced and Mixed by Wynne in his very own Stockport-based RR Studios ‘Getting Over You’ Rory describes the recording process as a new experience for him;

“Usually I write a song and within days or weeks record a demo and the song stays like that. Getting Over You has evolved over 10 months since I originally wrote it in April, at times it was frustrating because I had a vision in my head of what I knew it could sound like – but in the end I got there and I think it sounds huge – and that’s always what I aim for.”

Through his ‘huge‘ pop-rock sound, Rory leads us through a night out to forget;

“This tune was about a night where everything was going unexpectedly well with somebody I’d liked for a while and then as we were going our separate ways I realised it wasn’t going to happen again so it’s about that and then the Getting Over them process.”

To celebrate the release of the single Rory will be playing a handful of headline dates across the UK:

1st March – London – The Water Rats
