Like most other 12-year-olds, Rosie Grace McClelland is looking forward to Christmas.  But Rosie – who has enjoyed life in the spotlight since a video posted on YouTube went viral – has not let success spoil her.

This Christmas, Rosie was keen to do a little bit to give back, so when Spin Master toys asked to her to get involved in their Annual Charity Advent Calendarat KidZania London, Rosie was delighted!

The Giant Advent Calendar has 24 doors, with one being opened each day at the children’s indoor city until Xmas Eve. Rosie was asked to nominate a charity to receive £1,000 of toys as part of a massive £25,000 donation from Spin Master toys.

Rosie decided that she wanted her toy bundle to go to the Dolphin Children’s Ward at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow – the place where she was born!

Rosie said: “I’m really glad to be able to give something back – especially at this time of year, and when it’s important for us all to think about children and families who are not as fortunate as us.

She continued: “For all the children who will be needing to stay in the Dolphin Ward this Christmas, these toys, along with all the brilliant doctors and nurses at the hospital, will hopefully help make sure they have a great Christmas despite being poorly and away from home.”
