The Roundhouse, youth charity and independent multi-arts venue based in Camden, London, has revealed the line-up for Roundhouse Rising, a five-month season spotlighting the UK’s most vibrant breakthrough talent in music, theatre, spoken word, and beyond.
Running from October 2026 to February 2027, Roundhouse Rising will present 18 shows and gigs in the Roundhouse’s newly renamed Davey Studio, which has previously hosted early-career performances from the likes of Little Simz, Kae Tempest and Inua Ellams.
Situated within the iconic multi-arts venue and youth charity, Roundhouse Rising has been curated by the Roundhouse from submissions by participants of the Roundhouse’s youth programme. Artists have taken part in programmes including the Resident Artist programme, podcast platform Transmission Roundhouse, the Roundhouse Music Collective, and the Roundhouse Poetry Slam.
The season will showcase vital new work including spoken word, immersive gig-theatre, a cabaret, live podcasts, club nights and album launches. Work premiering at Roundhouse Rising includes Eliezer Gore’s Last Orders, which follows a viral YouTuber accused of profiting off content about London’s poorest residents, Eleanor Cousins Brown’s Brickwork, a night of poetry celebrating UK estates and Above the Fray, a night of cutting-edge contemporary chamber music from the Jasmine Quartet. More than simply a stage, Roundhouse Rising is the ultimate launchpad for the next generation of creatives.
The Roundhouse youth programme engages with more than 10,000 young people every year, with creative opportunities ranging from casual drop-ins to learn new skills, to programmes like Roundhouse Rising, which support young people to forge creative careers.
