Following the hotly-anticipated premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 5 last night on BBC Three in the UK and WOW Presents Plus worldwide, World of Wonder is delighted to announce that the full cast of Series 5 will be opening RuPaul’s DragCon UK with the specially programmed After Hours Party on Friday 12th January.
The ru-turn of the After Hours Parties – the star-studded drag shows that take place out of hours on the convention floor, featuring fan favourite RuPaul’s Drag Race queens – will see the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 5 sashay onto the Main Stage at ExCeL London, promising a Friday lineup that will serve charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.
Alexis Saint-Pete, Banksie, Cara Melle, DeDeLicious, Ginger Johnson, Kate Butch, Michael Marouli, Miss Naomi Carter, Tomara Thomas and Vicki Vivacious are all confirmed to perform at the RuPaul’s DragCon UK After Hours Party on Friday 12th, with the lineup for Saturday 13th January to be announced soon. Tickets to these specially programmed out of hours events are only available as add ons to existing DragCon UK ticket holders who are 16+.
After a wildly successful 2023 iteration of RuPaul’s DragCon UK, World of Wonder are also delighted to confirm the attendance of adored Anglophile and RuPaul’s Drag Race judge, Michelle Visage, who will be attending the main convention for meet and greets. Michelle joins an already gag-worthy convention line-up that will see over 100 stunning queens from across the Drag Race franchise in attendance to kick-start the new year in style with high heels and lots of glitter.
Queens confirmed to attend RuPaul’s DragCon UK so far include Season 15 alumni Mistress Isabelle Brooks and Loosey Laduca, UK favourites Lawrence Chaney, Krystal Versace, Scarlett Harlett and Charity Kase, as well as international phenomena Pangina Heals and Paloma.
