Over 20 Selfridges team members stayed awake all night in its London Oxford Street department store to raise money for the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity Centrepoint on Saturday 5th June.

Team members at Selfridges Oxford Street store were taking part in Centrepoint’s STAY:UP fundraising event which challenges people to stay up all night from 8pm until 8am, while raising money and awareness for homeless young people who have nowhere safe to bed down and often have sleepless nights.

The Selfridges all-nighter was filled with a variety of activities to keep staff awake – yoga, Zumba, games, quizzes, a honey tasting session with Hive, a historical Night Store Tour and they even heard from Centrepoint staff members on how vulnerable young people need our help now more than ever before.

Meave Wall, Stores Director at Selfridges said:

“Selfridges has partnered with Centrepoint for over five years and we are proud to support the charity’s STAY:UP initiative for 2021. Our teams readily took up the challenge, staying up in our Oxford Street store to raise awareness and funds to support Centrepoint’s work at a time when our local communities need our support more than ever.”
