Padel Social Club (“PSC”) has raised £5.5m to support its next phase of growth, bringing more courts, new clubs and greater access to padel across London and the UK.
The new investment includes leading consumer investors Clark Group and Active Partners, alongside a number of family offices and high-profile investors including musician and cultural icon Stormzy. The funding will support a major rollout of new Padel Social Club locations in the nation’s capital and beyond.
This marks a significant step in establishing PSC’s footprint across central London, as it builds a portfolio of sites in some of the capital’s most high-demand locations.
Rather than simply building courts, PSC focuses on creating design-led spaces where movement, connection and culture come together around padel – reflecting how a new generation of players want to experience sport today.
More places to play: new clubs across London
With a focus on prime, high-demand locations, PSC is becoming the only operator with multiple sites across central London (Zones 1-2), positioning itself at the heart of the city’s growing padel community.
This latest funding will help Padel Social Club open multiple flagship clubs, adding 17 courts to its growing network in the following locations:
Paddington (London) – 4 courts (2 covered, 2 outdoor) | Projected opening: June 2026. The only padel club in Zone 1, and the most central place to play in London.
The O2 (London) – 5 courts (2 indoor, 3 outdoor) | Projected opening: November 2026. Set within London’s most iconic entertainment destination, bringing padel into one of the city’s highest footfall venues.
Kentish Town (London) – 8 courts (5 indoor, 3 outdoor) | Projected opening: November 2026. North London’s largest padel club, creating a new hub for the sport in the area.
With more than 30,000 people already playing at Padel Social Club sites across London, and peak-time utilisation exceeding 95%, demand continues to outstrip supply – with the new locations making it easier for players to find courts and be part of the growing padel community.
As new sites prepare to open, players can register for early access at Padel Social Club’s upcoming locations. Those who sign up will also be entered into a draw to win an annual membership at a club of their choice, a 1-1 coaching session and a Wilson padel racket, providing the perfect entry point for those new to the sport or a go-to for regular players looking for their next place to play.
Building the future of padel in the UK
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, with the UK now the fastest-growing market globally and delivering higher utilisation per court than any other country (Playtomic, 2025).
Padel Social Club has quickly become part of that shift by creating clubs that reflect how people increasingly approach sport – as part of a broader lifestyle centred around movement, wellbeing and social connection.
Kristian Hunter, Co-Founder and CEO of Padel Social Club, said:
“Padel has an incredible ability to bring people together. It’s social, accessible and genuinely fun to play.
From the beginning our aim was to create places where people could come together around the sport – not just to play, but to spend time and feel part of a community.
This investment allows us to bring that experience to more neighbourhoods across London and beyond.”
Steve Clark, Clark Group, said:
“Padel Social Club has quickly emerged as a standout brand in a category that is growing at remarkable speed.
What impressed us most was not just the quality of the sites, but the strength of the community and brand the team has built in a short space of time.
We’re excited to support Kristian and his team as they scale that model across the UK.”
