Thai Festival Returns to London This Summer at New Location Beside Tower Bridge

The annual Thai Festival: Thailand Showcase 2026 is returning to London from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July 2026 and promises an unforgettable celebration of Thai culture, cuisine, creativity and craftsmanship.
A much-loved fixture in London’s summer calendar, the iconic Thai Festival returns this year in an exciting new location; Potters Fields Park, beside the historic and scenic Tower Bridge. Set against one of London’s most recognisable landmarks, the festival promises an immersive experience that brings the very best of Thailand to the heart of the city.
Thai Festival: Thailand Showcase 2026 forms part of a global celebration taking place in 43 cities worldwide under the theme “Creative Life and Creative Heartbeat”. The theme highlights the people, ideas and cultural expressions that make Thailand unique, showcasing how creativity is woven into everyday life across Thai food, arts, craftsmanship, wellness, tourism and cultural traditions.
London has been selected as one of only 12 flagship cities worldwide, reflecting the festival’s importance and popularity in the United Kingdom. The authenticity of Thai products and restaurants within the UK will be evident through the amazing flavours of the certified Thai SELECT products and dishes on offer. Highlights include Patara offering its delicious mango sticky rice, Kin + Deum with its elegantly spiced massaman curry and Slurp Thai with sir-fried pork with holy basil. This is just a small selection of the extensive culinary that will be on offer at the festival.
Building on the success of previous years, which attracted more than 60,000 visitors, this year’s festival will once again showcase the richness and diversity of Thailand through an exciting programme of food, culture, shopping, wellness experiences
and live entertainment.
As the largest Thailand-focused public event organised by the Royal Thai Embassy
in London, the festival will feature more than 50 vendors, exhibitors and sponsors across three vibrant days of celebration. Thai Festival is free to attend and celebrates the creativity which under pins the amazing culture and people of Thailand.

A Taste of Thailand
Food lovers will be spoilt for choice with an outstanding line-up of authentic Thai restaurants, including Patara, The Great Thai, Slurp Thai, Siam Niyom, Monkey and Me, Kin+Deum and Thai Square, all recipients of the prestigious Thai SELECT certification which guerantees authentic Thai flavours and quality ingredients. Between them, these recognised restaurants will be championing Thai cuisine with outstanding dishes including Tom Yum Noodles, Prawn Summer roles and delicious Thai curries alongside all that personifies Thailand’s outstanding gastronomy.
Alongside delicious savoury dishes from across Thailand, visitors can indulge in a wide variety of Thai desserts, traditional sweets and refreshing ice creams, making the festival the perfect summer destination for food enthusiasts of all ages.
Visitors can also enjoy Thailand’s iconic original Thai milk tea from ChaTraMue, refreshing beverages from Chang Beer and Singha Beer, award-winning wines from Monsoon Valley, as well as a wide selection of premium Thai food products and snacks. Key highlights of the incredible Thai SELECT products available include LOBO – authentic Thai seasoning mixes, ROI THAI – high quality ready-to-cook curry and soup and MANORA – famous crunchy shrimp chips made from Thai traditional recipes. Guests are invited to experience the power and elegance of Muay Thai through interactive workshops, live demonstrations and exciting stage performances throughout the festival. Guests can discover a vibrant marketplace showcasing Thai fashion, jewellery, lifestyle

Chud Thai Exhibition & Interactive Experiences
Visitors are also welcomed to explore the beauty and elegance of Thailand’s national dress through a special Chud Thai exhibition featuring the eight of traditional Thai costume formats designed by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Alongside this, there will be digital experiences, allowing guests to see themselves dressed in stunning Thai attire and capture memorable photos to share with friends and family.

Thai Cultural Performances, Fashion Shows & Live Demonstrations
To complete the event, there will be a spectacular programme of live performances throughout the weekend, featuring traditional Thai music and dance, cultural showcases by performers travelling specially from Thailand, live cooking demonstrations and fashion shows celebrating Thai textiles and contemporary Thai design. Highlights include cooking demonstrations by renowned Thai chefs, including Chef Chariya Khattiyot, winner of MasterChef UK 2023, who will share her passion for Thai cuisine and contemporary interpretations of authentic Thai flavours.
