Following on from two sold out shows last year celebrating what would have been her 40th birthday, Amy Winehouse’s band, with her live and on recordings since the very beginning, have announced two shows for December 2024.

Taking place at KOKO in Amy’s home of Camden, the shows will celebrate one of the greatest vocalists of her generation, and see the band performing songs from throughout their time with Amy – which went from tiny pubs, all the way to that iconic Pyramid Stage moment at Glastonbury, and more.

The Amy Winehouse Band are led by Amy’s long term musical director and bass player Dale Davis, were musical consultants on the upcoming biopic ‘Back to Black’ starring Marisa Abela and directed by Sam-Taylor Johnson.

Fronted by the incredible vocalist Bronte Shandé, and with a show that features on-screen visuals and unique footage, the band has toured all over Europe since 2022.

On the film, shows, and what a huge year 2024 is shaping up to be for Amy Winehouse fans, Dale Davis said:

‘I hope this year will be a big year for Amy fans, with the release the film. From the snippets I’ve seen and being on the film set, it looks like it will be fantastic.

If the upcoming KOKO shows are anything like last December’s shows, then the audience will be in for a great evening, celebrating Amy’s life and music..’

The Amy Winehouse Band also performed on live ITV This Morning last year on what would have been Amy’s 40th birthday, watch HERE.

On performing her music again, the band told The Times last year ‘We’re enjoying the music afresh and seeing it played for new ears and old ears’, with audiences having told them ‘… this is the closest we can get to seeing Amy.’

With an extensive list of awards and number one albums over the years, Amy Winehouse created some of the biggest hits of the 2000’s, including ‘Back to Black’, ‘Rehab’, ‘Valerie’, ‘Tears Dry on Their Own’ and much more.
