The Open University in Milton Keynes will host the latest SPRINT roadshow on 2 April 2019 to promote funding for SMEs to access expertise and facilities provided by leading UK universities. The funding will help SMEs to grow their business and support the development of new, commercial products.

The national £5 million SPRINT (SPace Research and Innovation Network for Technology) programme is focused on driving growth for UK SMEs by providing unprecedented access to university space expertise and facilities. SPRINT is funded by Research England and is being delivered by a consortium of five of the UK’s leading space universities, led by the University of Leicester and including the University of Edinburgh, Open University, University of Southampton and University of Surrey.

SPRINT is holding a series of roadshows across the UK at these partner universities and the latest event will take place from 11:30am – 3pm on Tuesday 2 April 2019 at The Open University, Jennie Lee Building, Milton Keynes MK7 6AA.

At the event, SMEs can find out how to use SPRINT funding to support their business, meet potential business partners, Space Primes, SMEs and researchers, tour facilities and discuss aspects of University expertise that could help their business.

There will also be an optional tour to find out more about the University’s facilities.
