The Royal Wharf Summer Fete: All-Day Family Festival Comes To London’s Royal Docks

The Royal Wharf Summer Fete, coming to Royal Wharf Gardens on the rescheduled date of this Saturday 24th September from 11AM to 7PM.

Family and friends of all ages are invited to roll up to this vibrant one-day waterfront carnival! Activities include live music, traditional garden games, face painting, balloon modelling, fitness classes, craft market stalls, circus skills, and more.

A fantastic array of food vendors offering a delectable variety of international cuisine and drinks will also be present throughout the day. Free tickets for the activity can be booked here.

A delicious selection of international cuisine, courtesy of numerous street food vendors including Lombrello Pizza, Calamari Kitchen, Chick ‘N’ Sours and Waffle Lollies.

· Children’s entertainment workshops with Sharky & George (11:00AM to 1:00PM)

Live music performances from DJ Lucia and Das Brass

Wandering entertainment, with walkabout magic from Steven Dunbar, circus skills from Charlene The Hoola queen, balloon modelling and all-ages face painting with Squiggles and Wiggles!

Located in the heart of the Royal Docks, access to this all-day summer fete is easy thanks to the fantastic transport links to and from the area via train or boat. Royal Wharf Gardens sits within close walking distance of Pontoon Dock and West Silvertown stations on the DLR, with nearby Custom House station now served by the recently launched Elizabeth Line, offering fast travel from central London and vice versa. Guests can also choose to access the event by water to capture the full riverside community experience, with the Uber Boat by Thames Clipper servicing the Royal Wharf Pier, just seconds from the Fete.
