From the 21st November – 5th January 2020 Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returns with a mesmerising line up of pre-bookable ice themed attractions.
New and exclusive for 2019, The Magical Ice Kingdom will host a brand-new theme – A Christmas Carol which brings Charles Dickens’ timeless classic to life. Also making its debut is the Paddington™ On Ice show which combines cutting edge choreography, stunning costumes and toe-tapping music. Finally, visitors can enjoy a range of different ice-tivities from ice sculpting workshops, to skating on the UK’s largest open-air Ice Rink to chilling at the alpine-inspired Bar Ice.

ARCTIC ATTRACTIONS

Paddington™ On Ice will make its UK debut at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, following its incredible success at Europa-Park (Germany’s largest theme park). Combining cutting edge choreography, stunning costumes and toe tapping music, the 45-minute show is the perfect length for family members of all ages. Featuring award-winning international figure skaters, Paddington™ On Ice is a show to delight the whole family.

The Magical Ice Kingdom returns for 2019 with a brand-new traditional theme ‘A Christmas Carol’. Journey through the beautifully crafted snow and ice sculptures and relive the magical story of Dickens’ timeless classic in the UK’s largest ice experience. 500 tonnes of spectacular snow and ice will transport visitors to crisp, wintery world of Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge.

ICE-TIVITIES
Surrounding the picturesque Victorian bandstand in London’s beautiful Hyde Park, the UK’s largest open-air Ice Rink with Sky Cinema returns to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Visitors can unwind and glide across the ice in a leafy setting as the bandstand singer provides a gentle musical backdrop – it’s a stunning, quintessentially festive scene! Penguin skating aids are available to support the little ones and, for the less experienced, ice guides can be hired. Providing festive fun for family, friends, couples and colleagues. Ice-skating sessions can be booked between 10am and 9pm, with each session lasting 50 minutes.

Escape to the Alps at Bar Ice and be transported to the coolest destination around. Step inside the beautifully crafted après ski bar, surrounded by funky, pop-art sculptures, where the bar, tables, chairs and even the glasses are made of ice. With a complimentary cocktail provided with each ticket and a thermal cloak to keep out the -10C cold, it the perfect spot to chill with friends.

A huge hit last year, 2019 welcomes back the exciting Ice Sculpting Workshops. Visitors can create a masterpiece in the bespoke sculpting studio, with expert guidance from the UK’s finest ice artists and the creators of the Magical Ice Kingdom! This year tickets include entry into the Magical Ice Kingdom for those aged 12 and over.

Santa Land celebrates all things Santa. With rides, games, food and sweet stalls, it’s also home to Santa’s Grotto, and the 45m Ice Slide! Entry to Santa Land is free for all and its return is sure to light up the little ones’ faces.
