THE WINE CIRCUIT: A FESTIVAL FOR WINE LOVERS RETURNS TO BATTERSEA POWER STATION THIS JUNE

Calling all wine lovers! After a hugely successful debut in 2025, Battersea Power Station’s three-day wine festival, The Wine Circuit, will return between 12th – 14th June 2026. Across the weekend, festival-goers will have opportunities to discover their new must-have wines, learn about wine making and emerging drink trends from industry experts, whilst also trying some of London’s hottest food offerings.

Kicking off The Wine Circuit on the evening of Friday 12th June will be last year’s sell-out ‘Strictly Bangers’ night. This high-energy blend of wine tasting and music, hosted by Mark Gurney of Bar Levan, proved to be a standout hit in 2025. Attendees can put their wine knowledge to the test with blind tastings and a lively quiz, with prizes up for grabs. Plus, there will be live DJ sets with Mark Gurney and special guests on the decks. The wine list has been expertly curated by Bar Levan, named one of Condé Nast Traveller’s top wine bars in London. Strictly Bangers will take place in The Lounge Bar at The Cinema in the Power Station, with tickets priced at £40 per person plus booking fees.

The Wine Cup, a ticketed tasting experience showcasing an incredible selection of wines from a curated lineup of independent wineries and wine shops will also be returning to the festival. Guests can choose the category or categories they want to judge, including red, white, rosé and sparkling. During the experience, festivalgoers will be able to meet the wine makers and sellers, hear the stories behind their entries and discover bottles from across the globe – before casting their vote for ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Highly Commended’. Tickets are priced at £35 for red, white or rosé, or £38 for sparkling, and participants will receive ‘The Wine Circuit’ branded tote bag and cup, as well as a tasting card to note down their thoughts on the variety of wines available to try.

A new addition for 2026 is The Pairings Room in The Lounge Bar at The Cinema in the Power Station, which will feature a series of guest chefs and sommeliers coming together to host special sessions of pairing food and wine together with names to be announced.

Also new for 2026 is the sure-to-be-raucous Drag Queen Wine Tasting. Wine expert Beth Brickenden and international superstar, Vanity Von Glow, will take over the Tastings Tent in Power Station Park on the evening of Saturday 13th June, bringing their theatrical worlds of drag and wine together with an unmissable vibrant show. A firm fan favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it earned multiple five-star reviews, the show brings its signature energy to The Wine Circuit where guests can expect an immersive wine tasting event, fueled by sharp wit, live music, audience interaction and delicious wines.

A series of ticketed wine tasting sessions and panel discussions will also take place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June in the festival’s Tasting Tent, led by leading industry experts including sommeliers, winemakers and authors. These sessions will allow for festivalgoers to learn more about the current wine making techniques and emerging drink trends, hearing from industry-experts including City AM’s wine consultant Libby Brodie, Aleesha Hansel, Shane Jones, Rosamund Hall, Jimmy Smith, Dan Belmont, David Ellis and more sharing their insider knowledge. Guests can expect engaging conversations, the opportunity to ask their burning questions, and plenty of delicious wines to discover along the way.

Power Station Park will be transformed into a vibrant alfresco market during the festival with pop-ups from the UK’s most exciting producers and independent wine shops. Visitors will be able to browse and sip their way through pours from Vagabond Wines, Domaine des Jeanne, LAYLO, Hossio, Candover Brook, Diogenes the Dog, Oast Wood, Beare Green Winery, Oastbrook, Chateau Grand Bari, and more, with something to suit every palate. There will also be alternative format wines as well as no/low alcohol stalls to discover.

Some of London’s best street food will also be available throughout the weekend, including exclusive dishes from some of the capital’s most exciting street food traders – all expertly matched with delicious wines. These include Other Side Fried, Masa Tacos, Duck Shed, Sear, Rice Bandits, Midnight Pantry and more. Plus, drinks will be on offer from Battersea Power Station’s own bars, including Battersea Brewery and Searcy’s Champagne Bar, who will be popping up during the festival.

An artisan market providing a selection of wine inspired finds also awaits inside Turbine Hall A inside the iconic Power Station. From elegant wine glasses and decanters to stylish corkscrews, bottle stoppers, and unique vino-themed gifts, it’s the perfect place to pick up something special and elevate your at-home wine experience. Visitors will be able to explore and shop brands including Anna + Nina, Aaron Probyn and Royal Selangor glassware, ETO decanters, kitchenware and prints from Laura Barnes, Neesh Home and Corinne Alexander, Overture’s wine-inspired candles, London Vermouth Company and many more across the weekend.

Elsewhere, many of the bars and restaurants open at Battersea Power Station will be getting into the spirit of The Wine Circuit with exclusive offers throughout the weekend including Brindisa Tapas, Searcy’s, Moleskine, Abercrombie & Fitch, Street Pizza and Where The Pancakes Are to name a few.
