For the first time ever, Menabrea is bringing the Italian late-night tradition, ‘La Spaghettata di Mezzanotte’ or ‘Midnight Spaghetti’ to the UK. Menabrea Midnights is a series of authentic late night experiences taking place in London, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow, with a delicious twist at midnight.

This collection of up-tempo experiences will bring people up and down the country together to enjoy the simplicity of Italian culture, after hours. Culture vultures can extend their nights by attending the Menabrea Midnights after parties to understand exactly what midnight spaghetti means.

In Italy, midnight spaghetti is more than a late-night snack – it’s an impromptu celebration of Italian delights. The concept is a way to enjoy the evening and company, for as long as possible. Beer is poured; ingredients from the kitchen are brought out; and the party comes together to enjoy a delicious meal at midnight.

The recipe is simple and the experience to be enjoyed slowly. Traditionally made using just garlic, chilli and olive oil, this authentic Italian midnight spaghetti feast is yours to create and experience too, thanks to Menabrea Midnights.

Giving the Menabrea Midnights tour the Italian seal of approval, well-known chef and restaurateur of London’s Pastaio, Stevie Parle, will be joining the events in London and Manchester, teaching spaghetti lovers about Italian culture and how to enjoy their own midnight spaghetti recipe at home.

Each event around the country will begin with an evening workshop, where attendees can learn about how they can recreate their own midnight spaghetti evening at home with friends and loved ones. Guests will be sampling Menabrea throughout the session, to truly uncover how Italian flavours can come together.
