Decorating Easter biscuits with your kids in the kitchen is so 2021. With the pandemic seemingly on the way out, 2022 is the year to head outside, get active and interact with other people. So if you’re looking for creative ways to keep the family entertained this Easter, why not try biscuit decorating on top of the world’s most popular music, entertainment, and leisure venue..?

Up at The O2 has just announced a series of climbs due to take place across the Easter holidays where climbers will get the chance to decorate delectable biscuits at the summit of the roofwalk, located 52m above ground.

With extended time at the summit, kids and adults alike will be able to customise confections of different shapes and sizes – including biscuits shaped like Easter eggs and the famous outline of The O2 itself – all whilst enjoying breath-taking 360-degree views of the London skyline.

The Easter biscuit decorating workshops will take place twice daily at 10:00am and 10:15am from Monday to Friday on the weeks commencing Monday 4 and Monday 11 April.

Tickets are £35 per person and are on sale now, and all climbs will be led by a team of expert guides who’ll be on hand to dish out fun facts and local knowledge of the surrounding areas. Crucially, they will also be providing the biscuits and decorating supplies for a sweet treat at the top.

Dan Hurst, Head of Attractions at Up at The O2 said: “We’re so excited to be launching our first activation of the year this Easter with biscuit decorating on the roof. Not only will climbers get to enjoy a guided experience over one of London’s most iconic venues, but also a fun and delicious interactive activity at the summit – it’s the ultimate family activity for adventure seekers and those with a sweet-tooth.”

If that’s not enough, those who decorate sky-high biscuits will also be encouraged to share pictures of their creations on social media for the chance to win an exclusive prize. By simply tagging @UpAtTheO2 and using the hashtag #UpAtTheO2 on their Instagram posts, climbers will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win an afternoon out at The O2 (full details to be revealed soon). The winner will be announced on Up at The O2’s Instagram channel on Wednesday 20 April.
