London saw an unexpected burst of Norse energy today as Vikings in Canada Water marked the start of Viking Spring with a dramatic live display by the water’s edge.
Set beside Vikings: The Immersive Experience, six warriors performed a powerful “Banging of the Shields” sequence on a floating pontoon, bringing rhythmic drumming and theatrical energy to the dockside setting.
The stunt transformed the waterfront into a Viking moment, blending performance, history and spectacle in a bold celebration of the occasion.
Those with an interest in Viking culture and history, can step into Vikings: The Immersive Experience and explore the world of Norse legends until 31st August. Tickets start from £23 for adults and £19 for children, with concession options available for seniors, students and NHS staff.
