London based Japanese matcha specialist MATCHADO will open its sixth location at Seven Dials Market, by KERB in Covent Garden on Tuesday 15th September 2026, bringing its signature matcha and hojicha drinks, Japanese inspired bakes and seasonal creations to one of London’s best known food destinations.
To celebrate the opening, MATCHADO will give away 100 free matcha lattes to the first 100 customers on Tuesday 15th September. Guests can choose from favourites such as Classic Matcha Latte, Real Fruit Matcha Latte featuring Banana, Strawberry or Mango or Brown Sugar Matcha Latte.
The new Seven Dials Market opening will also debut an exclusive Purple Sweet Potato Matcha Latte, available hot or iced. Made with purple sweet potato and MATCHADO’s signature matcha, the vibrant seasonal drink is designed to celebrate the arrival of autumn and will only be available at MATCHADO’s Seven Dials Market location.
The opening coincides with MATCHADO’s autumn menu, including the return of its popular limited edition Mooncakes, first introduced in 2025. Hand-baked in London by the MATCHADO team, the mooncakes feature a delicate matcha infused skin with a coconut and raisin filling, exclusively available until 25th September. For a traditional Japanese tea pairing, MATCHADO recommends enjoying the mooncakes with its lightly roasted Hojicha Latte or an umami rich Matcha Latte.

Seven Dials Market will become MATCHADO’s sixth London location, joining cafés in King’s Cross, Chiswick, Acton, Bloomsbury and Herne Hill, with further locations in Marylebone and Spitalfields also coming soon.
