Alzheimer’s Society launches Forget Me Not Appeal in London

0

This May, Alzheimer’s Society invites everyone in London to come together and support its Forget Me Not Appeal to remember and honour people they know who are living with dementia or who had the disease.

By wearing your Forget Me Not badge and supporting the appeal, you can show people living with dementia in London that they have not been forgotten, that you understand and stand with them. The badge is a symbol of solidarity and shows that supporters, through their donations, are helping to provide life-changing dementia support.

Who will you wear your badge for?

It’s never been more important to unite against dementia. There are currently 79,000 people living with dementia in London with someone developing it every three minutes. This number is set to rise to over one million by 2025 across the UK with many millions more carers, partners, families, and friends affected.

Alzheimer’s Society is a vital source of support and a powerful force for change for everyone affected by dementia in London. Too many are facing some of the hardest and most frightening times alone, without adequate support.

It is only with the generous help of supporters that Alzheimer’s Society can carry out its urgent work providing expert support to those who need it most.

Alzheimer’s Society is asking people in London to join the Forget Me Not Appeal in honour of loved one by donating, getting a badge and showing their support.
