With Easter only a hop, skip and a jump away, Battersea Power Station has an egg-citing line-up of free, family-friendly activities for all to enjoy from 9th – 10th April and 15th – 18th April, including an Easter Bunny Egg Hunt, a must visit Petting Zoo, a Maze, outdoor games, pop-up food and drink huts and much more.

The newly opened six-acre park in front of the Grade II* listed Power Station will be home to a Petting Zoo with rabbits, chickens, Pygmy goats, lambs and sheep, expertly cared for by The Mini Farm, and guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s faces this Easter.

Keep little ones entertained whilst exploring the vibrant new riverside neighbourhood at Battersea Power Station with this year’s Easter Egg Hunt. Follow the clues, spot the eggs and bunny rabbits hidden around Circus West Village, and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes. Entry forms can be picked up at participating Circus West Village retailers upon any purchase, or you can use the free digital form located on the Battersea Power Station website. There will be plenty of family fun twists and turns to take with the Maze located on The Coaling Jetty too.

Visitors looking to spend quality time with family and friends this Easter can also enjoy free outdoor games, including Ping Pong and Boules, with Imagination Playground bringing their fun and interactive outdoor big blue blocks. A beautiful Butterfly themed piece of art will be under Grosvenor Bridge, the perfect spot for capturing an Easter celebration selfie.

The great mix of retailers and restaurants already open at Battersea Power Station will be offering special menus and workshops throughout the Easter period. Tonkotsu and Tapas Brindisa Battersea will be serving delicious dishes from pop-up food and drink huts on The Coaling Jetting, ideal for those keen to make the most of the fresh Spring air, and the Queen of Crepes will be returning for the Easter weekend to please all those sweet tooths, with her special Easter themed crepes.

The UK’s oldest and most prestigious florists, Moyses Stevens, will be hosting an Easter Special workshop at their Battersea Power Station Flower School on 16th April. Budding florists will learn from their talented tutors how to make a stunning table vase in Spring colours, an ideal centrepiece for any Easter Sunday lunch.

Sarah Banham, Head of Community and Sustainability at Battersea Power Station, said: “Spring has finally sprung, and we’re excited to be bringing family-friendly Easter fun to Battersea Power Station this April. From the Petting Zoo in the recently opened North Park to the exciting Easter Bunny Egg Hunt and special Easter menus and workshops from our lovely retailers, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

“It’s an extremely exciting year for Battersea Power Station with the iconic Grade II* listed building opening its doors to the public from September. Opening from September 2022, the iconic Battersea Power Station will be home to 254 residential apartments, over 100 retail shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as unique event spaces including the Chimney Lift Experience. The opening will coincide with the launch of this exciting riverside neighbourhood’s new high street, Electric Boulevard, which will offer a mix of office space, shops, bars and restaurants, a 164-room hotel, and a community centre.

Opening shortly, just in time for Easter, the new Prospect Park children’s playground and park area at Battersea Power Station will be the perfect spot for families to have extra fun during the Half Term holiday.

With the Northern Line extended to give this new riverside neighbourhood its very own Zone 1 London Underground station, Battersea Power Station is now within 15 minutes of the West End and the City and is expected to draw visitors from across the capital and the globe, becoming one of London’s most visited destinations, boosting the local economy and creating over 20,000 jobs.
