GREAT GUNS SOCIAL has announced its first pop-up residencies for 2019, with the Borough restaurant welcoming FOUR chefs in January and February alone.

With South African grill masters African Volcano vacating the kitchens after Christmas, the restaurant will welcome the Goan flavours of Linda’s Journey for the duration of January.

Linda De Melo learned her trade in a five starred hotel in Goa 15 years ago, before moving to Dubai, where she trained under Michelin starred chefs in one of the finest seafood restaurants in the UAE.

From there, her culinary journey took her to Bermuda and finally back to Goa before returning to London, where her pop-up dining experience has taken the capital by storm.

Linda’s Journey will take over the Great Guns Social kitchens from 4th – 26th January inclusive.

The tail end of January will see Great British Bake Off finalist, Chetna Makan celebrate the launch of her new cook book, Chetna’s Healthy Indian, with a special, one- off supper club on February 2nd, where guests will be treated to a tasting menu of her newest culinary creations paired with the ultimate Indian companion: Kingfisher beer.

Tickets for the event will be on a strictly first come, first served basis and will cost just £40.

Adding a touch of romance to Great Guns Social over Valentine’s week will be Walrus & The Carpenter, whose oysters and fresh seafood are famous the world over.
