Kicking off on Saturday with Proms in the Park, the world-famous Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, led by conductor Pete Harrison, will take to the stage to take us on a journey through orchestral music. Featuring the timeless melodies of Bach and Mozart and the impressive compositions of Tchaikovsky to evocative movie scores from John Williams and a spectacular fireworks finale. Joining as host and special guest is the captivating Myleene Klass, classical performer and presenter of her own weekly Classic FM show. Myleene will not only host but will also delight event goers by guest performing as part of the evening. Before the main performance, Alex Mendham and his Orchestra will transport everyone back to the glamorous era of the 1920s with their toe-tapping songs as a musical aperitif.

Sunday will bring A Night at the Musicals featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and a throng of special guest singers, conducted by Richard Balcombe and hosted by the Olivier Award-winning West End star Cassidy Janson, who will also open the evening with a fantastic supporting performance. This enchanting evening will transport audiences to the magical world of the West End, with over 25 songs from down the ages of musical theatre, including Broadway classics, sing-along favourites, epic ensembles and showstopping solos. Fans of musicals such as Chicago, Rent, Six, The Greatest Showman, Grease, and many more will have a chance to hear their favourite songs performed by the incredible Jenna Lee James, Sharon Rose, Ricardo Afonso, and Dean Chisnall, backed by the 40-strong London Concert Chorus.

The final day of the event will be dedicated to all that jazz with Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra. Led by Pete Long, this legendary big band will dazzle audiences with their renditions of Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Cab Calloway, Frank Sinatra, Chaka Khan and many more, and will be joined by a number of guest singers. Before Ronnie’s, audiences can enjoy a long afternoon of live music featuring the London African Gospel Choir who will bring their joyous interpretation of Paul Simon’s Graceland album with a full live band. Further support comes from UK jazz legends Claire Martin` OBE and Ray Gelato live on-stage together. Last but not least, the action-packed Swinging at the Cotton Club will celebrate New York City’s legendary nightclub of the 1920s and ‘30s, featuring a full swing band and dancers.
