A beauty startup is now expanding further north after seeing growth in its initial launch phase.

Bloom Mobile Beauty was launched in May 2019 and has been providing freelance beauticians an additional revenue stream, extra appointments and a professional support network.

Ladies across Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, North and South Shields are now enjoying their favourite salon treatments at home, thanks to the new start-up and app.

The on-demand beauty booking software also allows ladies to receive a nail, eyelash, waxing or make-up treatment without heading into town, hiring a babysitter or paying for parking. For customers Bloom offers utmost beauty convenience with appointments available seven days a week from 6am – 9pm.

After a positive response from clients and repeat business, Bloom are now expanding their service provision further north of England to Teesside and are currently looking to hire more mobile beauty therapists.

Since January 2020, the brand has opened up its third round of recruitment to add beauticians based in Stockton on Tees, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Cleveland to their existing team.

Rachel Cotton, Founder of Bloom is excited to be able to offer more self-employed beauty therapists the opportunity to fill their professional diaries.

Cotton said: “After originally planning to launch in Teesside it feels great to be able to roll out our service from the cities to more rural areas and showcase the talent and expertise of the local beauticians. Bloom really is a great solution for self-employed beauticians who struggle to market themselves effectively and also for clients who simply don’t have the time to prioritise salon visits.”

All of Bloom’s professionals undergo a stringent trade testing procedure and are fully insured and highly qualified.

In addition to typical salon treatments the team can provide bridal make-up and accommodate large group bookings efficiently due to the large mobile network.
