Bow Arts’ annual Bow Road Winter Market returns

0

Get in the festive spirit this December and join Bow Arts for their annual Winter Market, giving visitors the chance to meet their creative community of artists, makers, and designers and purchase locally made gifts and artworks.

The market features over 20 artist and makers stalls, including locally based illustrators Good Wives and Warriors, London based mixed media artist Rita Matos, and local curator and papercrafter Anh Tran.

Visitors will find everything from original prints, indie zines, t-shirts, and ceramic homeware, all the way over to doggy paw-print activities, hand-stitched gifts, etchings, antique and vintage jewellery, and much more.

Alongside the main market, there will be a free, drop-in art workshop for families to print their own seasonal cards and upcycled wrapping paper with artist Rebecca Griffiths, as well as enjoy the delicious mince pies, mulled wine, and tasty seasonal treats you could hope for on sale from their very own Nunnery Café.

On the day Bow Arts will also be opening up P1 and Essex House studios down the road from the Winter Market for visitors to explore two east London artist studio sites and celebrate curiosity for what happens inside the buildings that we walk past every day.

Held in the Bow Arts Courtyard, come and discover Bow Arts’ community of talented local artists, whilst marking the start of the festive season with their east London neighbours.
