BOXHALL, the City-based food hall home to a line-up of global kitchens and bars, is marking its first birthday with a week-long celebration at Liverpool Street, bringing together surprise giveaways, exclusive dishes, throwback brunches and a festival of flavours finale.
The celebrations begin with The Best of BOXHALL Kitchen Spotlight series, running Monday to Friday (11th – 15th May), where each of the venue’s 14 kitchens will host its own daily moment. Across the week, guests can expect a mix of free giveaways, off-menu specials, secret dishes and lucky raffles, with new surprises dropping each day via BOXHALL’s Instagram, offering something new for guests to discover.
On Saturday (17th May), the birthday weekend kicks off with a Back to the Noughties Bottomless Brunch from 2pm–5pm. Expect a high-energy throwback, live DJs and standout vocal performances. Guests can dive into a global spread of brunch dishes from across the kitchens, alongside 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks.
The celebrations continue on Sunday 17th May with the BOXHALL Festival of Flavours, an all-day event showcasing BOXHALL at its very best. While the venue remains open as usual, ticket holders can enjoy an enhanced festival experience, with tickets priced at £25 and including a welcome cocktail on arrival, three food tokens to use across any of the 14 kitchens, live music, art, and access to exclusive moments across the day.
Alongside the food, a full programme of activity will run throughout the day, including live cooking workshops such as a sushi masterclass with Inamo, as well as cocktail masterclasses from the BOXHALL bar. Guests can also experience live art from Natasha Nayee, who will be creating a live sketch across the day for visitors to watch unfold. Younger guests can get involved through Kids in the Kitchen, while a summer exhibition installation and interactive moments, including a birthday spin wheel with prizes, add to the festival atmosphere.
Guests can claim their complimentary spot at one of the cocktail masterclasses when purchasing their ticket (limited spaces available), with more surprises still to be announced. Each ticket includes three food tokens, which can be used to sample signature dishes from a selection of BOXHALL’s global kitchens, letting guests curate their own tasting experience across the festival.
In just a year, BOXHALL has quickly become one of Liverpool Street’s go-to spots for food, drinks and socialising, known for its mix of global kitchens and lively, experience-led atmosphere. Its first birthday brings that all together across one week, starting with weekday discoveries and building into a full weekend of celebration.
