We have been denied our right to socialise by an invisible enemy and are facing a cold winter of minimal human contact, but Brixton Jamm is here to ensure the parties will go on during lockdown 2. Launching at 2pm on Saturday 14th November, Lockdown Live brings you special sets from the likes of DJ Yoda, Congo Natty, Kiara Scuro, Norman Jay, Demi Riquísimo, General Levy, BodyHammer, DJ Luck & MC Neat and more.

Lockdown Live is Brixton Jamm’s brand new live broadcast channel, specially designed to continue to celebrate music culture and bring people closer together, even if only in virtual terms. Each carefully curated broadcast will feature a variety of live-streamed content such as DJ sets, fashion events, live performance, educational talks, musical fitness and dance workshops across numerous social media networks for any and all like-minded people to interact and get involved with.

The first stream live from Brixton Jamm kicks off at 2pm this Saturday with Jungle Cakes hosting Deekline, Ray Keith and General Levy until 5pm, then playing until 8pm, Lockdown Live presents Ahadadream, Scratcha DVA with Tiger T & Manara, and finally until 11pm, OBLIGATED present DJ Oblig plays with Faultsz, Elf Kid, Deejillz, Grandmixxer, Bempah and Jetsss.

The rest of November promises plenty to get excited about including headline making DJ talent such as DJ Yoda, Congo Natty, Demi Riquísimo, Norman Jay, Subb-An, General Levy, BodyHammer, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Artful Dodger, Kiara Scuro, Mariin and more, with brands like Jungle Cakes, Disco Disco, Seven Hills Records, Shut The Front Door, Cold Cuts // Hotwax Record Store, AAJA Deptford, House of Dinosaur and Obligated also lining up.

On top of that you can also look forward to some thought provoking talks such as Scarlett O’Malley focussing on Womxn Record Collectors and Voices – a DIY platform that addresses a myriad of social issues from mental health to climate change – who will host a panel on nightlife beyond 2020. Panorama Barre host live fitness workshops with curated ‘fruity club bangers’ and House of Dinosaur, the collective behind lockdown show ‘Isolation Station,’ will bring the party with shows from their legendary back catalogue.

All this and more across several days each week is sure to keep people entertained and engaged throughout lockdown 2.0.
