London’s iconic Camden Market is the place to be this festive season with two Christmas feel good activities for visitors taking place across both Camden Market and their sister site Buck Street Market this December.

As 2020 is a year like no other, Camden and Buck Street Market owner LabTech has launched Camden’s Big Winter Thank You, by investing their £200,000 Christmas budget into thanking those who shop local and reimbursing small businesses, traders, and high street institutions who make up the beating heart of Camden. The special ‘Shop Out to Help Out’ scheme is live from 14th December to the end of January.

In addition, December also sees the launch of a pop-up store from Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) at Buck Street Market, London’s first eco market. It will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for three weeks, from 4th – 20th December and will be staffed exclusively by volunteers from GOSH Charity.

OH MY GOSH: BUCK STREET MARKET PARTNERS WITH CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL FOR CHRISTMAS POP-UP

The pop-up store, located within the mini market on Buck Street Market’s ground floor, will stock an array of GOSH Charity’s Christmas-themed and branded products such as plush toys and Christmas cards, helping to raise money to support seriously ill children who are treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). It will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for three weeks, from 4 – 20 December and will be staffed exclusively by volunteers from GOSH Charity.

This year GOSH Charity has introduced their Home for Christmas campaign, which is raising money to help get children home to their families as quickly as possible, and creating the best possible environment for those who need to remain in hospital over the festive season. Visitors to the Buck Street Market pop-up will also be able to write messages of support for the children who are unable to go home, and donate to support gift-giving and decorations, and to help families have accommodation at the hospital at Christmas.
