West Ham United legend Carlton Cole was spreading plenty of cheer this weeks as he delivered smiles, as well as the Club’s 2026/27 Home shirt to three supporters in east London to say thank you for their incredible support.

The former striker, who scored in the Hammers 2011/12 Play-Off Final win, was in his usual high spirits as he celebrated the launch of the Hammers new home strip with loyal fans.

First up was Jessica, who was in the middle of her shift at Queen’s Hospital in Romford when Carlton paid her a visit. Jessica has been attending games with her dad for years, and has spoken at match events to raise awareness of prostate cancer. She also cut her holiday short to attend Mark Noble’s last-ever game for the Hammers, back in 2022! Jessica gladly shared her surprise moment with her dad, when Carlton jumped on FaceTime to have a quick chat about all things West Ham United.

From Queen’s, Carlton made a quick dash to see Mark, who manages the warehouse for Club Charity Partner Saint Francis Hospice. Mark has been a Season Ticket Holder for a number of years, and attends matches with his two sons. Upon his visit Carlton also promised to donate some items to the cause, with a revisit on the cards in the coming weeks.

The final recipient of a new shirt was Mo, who is a well-known figure to many people at West Ham. As well as being a Season Ticket Holder, she is a Foundation volunteer and a member of Any Old Irons, while she is also the organiser and tutor for the Any Old Irons singing group.

A delighted Maureen, shared her passionate story on what West Ham United means to her, she said:

“For me, it’s a lifeline to the outside world, even before [I was involved] in Any Old Irons. It was of me being able to go out, so if I want to shout, I want to scream, go to a football match, specifically a West Ham United football match, because everything is involved in it!

“It’s truly a social occasion, but it’s also an extended family to me, I have so many friends, long term friends who I’ve been to their weddings, the christenings, I always celebrate with them, they involve me in everything, I’m quite notorious!”

Jessica, who couldn’t hide her shock at Carlton’s visit, shared her passion for the Club and why she’s joined 42,000 others in renewing her season ticket for next season, she said:

“Being a West Ham United season ticket holder is something I have done for my whole life with my dad, so Claret & Blue is in me! We’re always going to be there game after game no matter what, it’s something I’ll always enjoy and hopefully we will get back up to the Premier League.”
