Year 11 students at E-ACT City Heights Academy are celebrating today as they collect their GCSE results and look ahead to the next stage of their education.
After five years of commitment, learning and determination, students are now preparing for sixth form, college, apprenticeships and other opportunities.
Among the individual success stories being celebrated today are:
• Alvina Samee, who achieved an outstanding set of GCSE results, including a Grade 9 in Urdu, Grade 8s in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, a Distinction in Health & Social Care, and Grade 7s in Geography, Statistics and Media Studies. Alvina will now continue her studies at James Allen’s Girls’ School (JAGS).
• Isaac Scardua, who achieved an excellent set of results, including Grade 8s in English Language, Mathematics and Portuguese, alongside Grade 7s in Geography, Physics and Religious Studies, will now continue his studies at Burntwood School.
• Eden-Rose Dennemont, who achieved impressive results including Grade 8s in Biology, Geography and Enterprise, together with Grade 7s in Sociology, English Language, English Literature and Chemistry, will now continue her studies at David Game College.
• Our Head Girl – Gloria Baffour, who achieved strong results including Grade 8s in Mathematics, Portuguese and Health & Social Care, alongside strong passes in English Language, Biology and Geography, will now continue her studies at South Bank University Academy (SBUA).
