Performing for One Night Only at London Dingwalls, Camden, London on Wednesday 3rd of June 2026: Fifty years on from its release, award-winning British Singer-songwriter David Ford reunites Stoner and Rivera (Bob Dylan’s original band members) to perform Dylan’s masterpiece with a stellar band featuring Michele Stodart from The Magic Numbers, drummer Darren Beckett and an array of special guest performers, hosted by actor Kerry Shale.

When Bob Dylan released Desire in 1976, it quickly became one of the defining albums of his career: cinematic storytelling, sweeping arrangements, and an iconic musical energy built on the foundation of Rob Stoner’s vibrant, lyrical bass performance and the unforgettable violin of Scarlet Rivera, whose sound gave the record its gypsy-folk soul.

At the show, there will be an opening set that mixes music with conversation and a bit of insight into the record and the cast of musicians. This will be introduced and led by Actor/presenter/Bob Dylan expert, Kerry Shale. Plus, much-loved comedian, commentator and Bob Dylan expert Nish Kumar to join in with a discussion about Bob Dylan’s Desire album.

Then for the main set, the band will play Desire straight through, followed by a short encore set.

This is more than a tribute. It’s a reunion with the music itself, an extraordinary chance to hear Dylan’s album performed by a cast of acclaimed recording artists and the players who crafted a classic.
