Families are invited to enjoy a free day of summer fun at Ealing Broadway this week, with creative activities, giveaways and a sandcastle-building competition all on offer.
Taking place in the Town Square on Thursday 30th July from 11am to 2pm, the event is designed to bring the community together while also shining a spotlight on Home-Start Ealing, a charity providing practical and emotional support to parents and carers with young children through its team of trained volunteers.
Those coming along should head to Ealing Broadway’s Sportropolis Beach, where they can pick up a free balloon and get chatty with a game of Conversation Jenga. From 1.30pm, children can put their creativity to the test by building their best sandcastle for the chance to win one of three £25 Smiggle vouchers.
The Home-Start Ealing team will also be on hand throughout the event to chat about the charity’s services, volunteering opportunities and other ways to get involved.

The event forms part of Ealing Broadway’s wider Sportropolis programme, which runs until Friday 4th September. Across the summer, families can enjoy the Sportropolis Beach, weekly Saturday Sports Club sessions, football-themed Jump Serve and Sub Soccer challenges, and family rugby sessions with Ealing Trailfinders.
No booking is required; all activities are free and suitable for all ages.
