Grand Slam champion Emma Raducanu, and British tennis star Jack Draper, made a surprise guest appearance at the Wimbledon Queue on the first day of The Championships.
Vodafone, Official Connectivity Partner of Wimbledon, teamed up with Capital Breakfast to surprise optimistic tennis fans joining the famous Queue at the event. Vodafone Ambassadors, Raducanu and Draper chatted on-air with the Capital Breakfast team via the pop-up studio at Wimbledon Park, spending time with hopeful ticket-buyers, taking selfies and chatting with fans.
As part of Vodafone’s #FeelTheConnection campaign, queue-goers will be joined throughout the week by more Vodafone Ambassadors to bring fans closer to the action. Sports and TV personalities such as commentator and former professional football player, Alex Scott, Olympic champion and three-times world champion heptathlete, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill will also be delighting fans at Wimbledon Park.
