Shuavy is a brand keen on artistic expression, both through fashion and music. Zeegi and Meegi are looking to make a name for themselves in both industries. Having seen success in their fashion
endeavours, they are now also looking to make similar strides with their music. Zeegi has described the pair’s music as “Afro-pop music. In other words, Afrobeat.” Although nothing is yet to be released, if their drive and vigour in the fashion industry is anything to go by, then a lucrative music career could be on the horizon.

They are well based, too. Having come from Nigeria, the pair are currently based in London. Their fashion has an intrinsically London-style to it, with pieces incorporating and influencing London
streetwear trends. Meegi states: “Fashion is all about expressing creativity in what you wear. Therefore, Shuavy duo, Zeegi and Meegi, have expressed a great fashion style. Shuavy is already making waves in fashion industry and also influencing a few number of English streetwear styles.” They formerly had a pop-up store based in Westfield Stratford City, and are always looking for ways to branch out and get their brand noticed.

For two young men looking to make it in the music and fashion industry, respectively, they have taken the initiative to locate themselves in London, where both industries have a lively scene. London could be seen as Europe’s answer to the American Dream. Many look to London due to the host of opportunities on offer. Zeegi and Meegi are no different. It is widely known that London is a melting pot of different nationalities and cultures, and the Nigerian pair are a welcome addition.

For Zeegi and Meegi, work ethic is paramount. Their message is a simple one – they want to reach their full potential, and encourage everyone else to do the same. They state that: “Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart. Everything happens for a reason.” This a mindset that has kept them in good stead with the success of the Shuavy fashion brand. It is this same disposition that could see success with their music, too. Shuavy duo are determined individuals who has set the bar high for where they want to be in years to come: “We want to be one of top African Entertainers in nearest future and also I want our fashion brand to create a great impact in fashion industry worldwide.”

Meegi advises others to make the most of every day with reap-what-you-sow type mentality. Zeegi finishes off by stating “Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again.”
