Take a dip into Westfield’s ‘Ocean Explorers’ event this summer; an interactive, play experience packed with fun, educational activities, perfect for families during the school summer holidays.

Launching from 29th July at Westfield London and from 20th August at Westfield Stratford City*, the free summer event will see the centres’ event spaces transform into a vibrant ocean seabed for a unique and interactive experience that also educates visitors on the issues affecting the world’s oceans and its species.

Visitors will embark on a journey across the ocean floor, with a family-friendly event that’s filled with educational insights and activities**.

Dive with the Dolphins – through the deep nets are the dive pools where kids can jump on ocean-themed trampolines, and afterwards learn about the impact fishing nets can have on our aquatic friends.

Giant Turtle – Admire the 5m giant turtle sculpture made from recycled plastic bottles collected from the Westfield centre.

Coral Cove – take part in the Coral Cove workshops, will be different workshops across the 10 days where families can learn about the impact of single-use plastics on our oceans by getting creative with waste.

Join the Jolly Jellyfish – families can also step underneath the giant jellyfish for a fun photo experience!

Pledge Pool – dive in to decide which pledge you will take to help contribute to saving our oceans. Be immersed underneath an impactful installation, with useful tips about reducing waste at home and games for the whole family to take part in.
